TEFF PORRIDGE
INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 cups of water (or almond milk for extra creaminess)
1/2 cup Teff Super Seeds
Honey to sweeten
Handful of blueberries
Sprinkle of flaked almonds
Optional: 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Place teff seeds and water (or milk) inside a saucepan and bring to the boil
- Simmer for approximately 7 minutes or until a desired consistency is achieved (if porridge too thick, simply add more liquid)
- Add honey (and cinnamon) to desired level of sweetness mix thoroughly
- Pour into bowl and serve with blueberries and flaked almonds sprinkled on top
